"a place for forgetting"

{10 points to the first one to name that movie}

I've found myself in a place for forgetting lately.

I've forgotten what it feels like to be fully rested.

I've forgotten what it feels like to be full.

For example: This morning I woke up, too hungry to stay in bed. I got up and ate a bowl of cereal, only to to get halfway through and be too tired to finish. Too hungry to sleep, too tired to eat.

I've forgotten what it's like to find most food appealing.

Mostly, I've just forgotten. Like when I was making sandwiches for the boys the other day and couldn't find the bread anywhere. After 2 minutes of searching, I realized it was right in front of me on the counter. I had already pulled it out. Doh!

Or last Sunday, when Spiderman was supposed to give the scripture in Primary. We practiced it that morning and after sacrament meeting I sent him off to class and told him I'd be up in an hour to help with the scripture. Two hours later after church, the Primary president tells me he did a great job on the scripture. Doh! again!

Other things I've forgotten:

What it feels like to fit into my cute bermuda shorts.

What a dreamless sleep feels like.

And apparently there's something in the bloggy water because That Girl, this published writer, and this Jennifer Love-Hewitt look-alike all are having similar symptoms.

What I'm trying to say is: I'm contemplating putting one of these at the top of my blog.

What do you think? Fun or overdone?

OK, I REALLY need to take a pregnancy test, I guess. People were asking me on my blog if I was pregnant, due to my stomach problems, but I've had my period. I guess there's no telling.

And congrats!!!!

Jennifer love Hewitt. Haha. You should see me now. I don't do my hair anymore, so I just have crazy witch hair most of the time. Unless I need to go out, in which case I give it spritz and a pat, and then go out in public with something I call 'modified witch hair'.

Congrats to you. I can't sleep either. And when I wake up, I vomit.

I'm so jealous you are like 2 weeks ahead of me. Over here, a week feels like month.

Wow, congratulations to you! That is very exciting. Well, not the forgetting parts of it, but the baby part is very exciting.

Sounds like your pregnancy induced Alzheimers is kicking in. Sorry, you feel crappy.

Here's my take:
I think it's perfectly OK, so give yourself permission to plop the kiddos in front of the TV for a day, and take it easy. The housework can wait until tomorrow.

Feel better!!

I was thinking that you had pregnancy brain!! I guess I will make you a diaper cake! LUCKY. So exciting. I want you to have a girl OK!! I sent you an email about the DVR but I can bring it over now since *I* fixed the car seat. Let me know just give me a jingle.

P.S. When are you due? I'm due March 23. I bet you're just a bit ahead of me, right? That Girl is April 1 and Beeswax is March 24. But I'm always super early so I'll probably end up skipping the whole last month (which I highly recommend if the baby comes out okay, which mine do).

Whoooooo - congrats!!! Maybe you'll have a girl, and then you can team up on the superboys over there (while wearing flowers in your hair or mommy and me matching pink spandex super suits.)

I keep thinking that I'm jealous of everyone having babies, and then I remember that I really don't want to be pregnant EVER AGAIN. So good luck with that.
