a little giveaway info for ya

A few people I know are doing some giveaways right now.

And because I'd like a better shot at winning either of these prizes, I'm passing along the info to y'all.

Annette is giving away this fantastic footrest. I need it because (1) I spend way too much time at the computer, (2) I am short and it's not comfortable to have my feet on the floor, and (3) my glider does not have an ottoman. So in a few months when I'm sitting in that chair all the time, I'm gonna need something to prop my feet up on.

Another giveaway is from Laughing at Life's Little Wedgies. She's giving away an elf, but there are some stipulations for the winner. The idea is so fantastic, I'm thinking of implementing it in my own home.

Which reminds me of some fun holiday traditions I want to tell you about.

Ashley's got some HOT handmade jewelry that I love. Well, it's not actually hers, it's from someone's etsy shop, but she's still giving some away. And I love jewelry. Earrings in particular. I can't leave the house without earrings. Seriously. (Is that weird?) And these are really cute.

Lastly, the famous Sue (the navel-gazing one) is trying to get the word out about a winter clothing drive she's doing for refugees who have recently relocated to SLC. People from Africa and Asia who've never even heard of snow, let along lived through a Wasatch winter. If you can donate a new coat for a kid, she's got an address and everything on her blog.

You should go read some Sue, even if you don't plan on donating a coat. She's so stinkin' funny and kind of a big deal around here.
